Applicants must possess a current Licensed Independent Clinical Social Work license in the State of North Dakota and Minnesota or have the ability to obtain licensure to practice in the State of North Dakota and Minnesota. Minimum of three years of experience in an outpatient clinic setting is preferred.


Center for Psychiatric Care, located on the Aurora Medical Services Campus, is currently recruiting for a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker to join our team. Center for Psychiatric Care is an outpatient psychiatric clinic providing a full spectrum of psychiatric care in the region for more than fifteen years. Work with an outstanding multidisciplinary clinical team to provide psychiatric services to Children, Adolescents, Adults and Geriatric patients.


Duties of this position include:

  • Provide individual, marital, family or group psychotherapy services;
  • Provide crisis intervention and practices in emergency intake process;
  • Provide networking to and with outside participants along with some care facilitation through assessment process;
  • Obtain and document all required and pertinent patient information accurately wand within established time frames;
  • Select treatment methods which correlate to the age of the patient, the patient's diagnosis, symptoms and physician orders;
  • Performs and documents evaluations accordin to standard operating procedure;
  • Orients referred patients and families to the purposes and procedures of evaluation and treatment process;
  • Actively participates in program development;
  • Demonstrate the ability to adjust workload to meet fluctuation in patient case load;
  • Identify significant changes in a patient's condition and take appropriate actions;
  • Facilitate family and patient involvement in the development of the treatment plan;
  • Provide appropriate services and care in accordance to the clients needs
  • Maintain effective customer relationships and confidentiality;
  • Demonstrate courteous, professional and confident rapport with patient's and their families;
  • Serve on projects as delegated;
  • Complete other duties as assigned
